In line with Regulation (EU) 2025/1132, as of 6 June 2025, quotas for certain goods originating in Ukraine have been managed according to the chronological order of acceptance of customs declarations for release into free circulation, replacing the simultaneous examination method that required an AGRIM import certificate.
According to the current schedule, from 1 January 2026 these quotas will once again be managed through AGRIM import licences, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2020/761. Consequently, the forthcoming quota period for submitting initial applications for AGRIM certificates will run from 23 to 30 November 2025.
