Mercedes Peña works in providing specialized advice to traders, wholesale operators of petroleum products, wholesale operators of liquefied petroleum gases, natural gas marketers, electricity marketers, and retailers, on all matters related to their activity in Spain in the electricity, gas, oil, and renewable energy sectors.
She provides support to our clients in their relations with the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITERD), the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC- SICBIOS) mand the Strategic Reserves of Petroleum Products Corporation (CORES), in the processing of the corresponding administrative authorizations and in the fulfillment of the periodic obligations to send information to these organisms.
Member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Gijón.
Law Degree – University of Oviedo, 1988.
Master in Customs Law – Rovira i Virgili University (2020-2021).
