The award ceremony took place at the iconic New York Public Library, located on Fifth Avenue, and was attended, among others, by the Ambassador of Spain in America, Ramón Gil-Casares, and Ambassador of States in Spain and President of the Chamber, Alan Solomont.

During his speech, thanked the award and highlighted the relevance of the United States of Repsol characterized their industry as “highly technical, innovative, respects the law and is open to international investment”. Additionally, appealed to a more reasonable use of energy whose consumption considered being more “intelligent, ecological and efficient”, leading to sustainable, responsible, safe energy supply and public one.
