Any incidence that may affect the normal operations of a vessel is reported as soon as it is made known through the person responsible for the vessel, who is in constant contact with the vessel, terminal, authorities and any other party involved in its operations.
We look out for our clients' interests at all times by keeping an exhaustive control of the payments to be made, the invoices received and the services provided by third parties, all while making sure the rates and fees received from the port authorities correlate with the provisions of Law 48/2003 on ports and that the credits stipulated therein are correctly applied.
Loading and unloading operations are the fundamental elements of a vessel's stay at the port and for this reason, our greatest concern and responsibility is that the information provided for and from the shipping terminals is accurate and fluid at all times so that the operations are completed in accordance with the instructions received by our principal.
Our commitment to our principals as Agents is not limited to after a vessel is nominated, but rather involves day-to-day representation and informing of any and all events, circulars, laws, etc. that may affect their operational decisions.
